The Perimeter: 64 miles of interstate wrapped around Atlanta like a concrete lasso. On a good day it's a parking lot. On a normal day, it's this game.

How to Play

You're the little blue car, stuck going clockwise on I-285 with no exit in sight. Steer with โ† โ†’ (or A / D) to thread the gaps, and work the gas / brake with โ†‘ โ†“ (or W / S) โ€” faster means more distance but less time to react. On a phone, tap the on-screen arrows and the GAS / BRAKE pads. You've got 3 lives; touch anything and you lose one. Lose all three and, wellโ€ฆ you've arrived at your exit.

The Points

Distance is your bread and butter โ€” the farther you drive, the higher your score. ๐Ÿ‘ Peaches are the real prize: grab them for points, and every 5 peaches earns a life back (capped at 3). At the finish line, each peach is worth a fat +500 Peach Bonus stacked onto your final score. โ˜• Coffee gives you a shield โ€” one free hit, because Atlanta runs on caffeine. And squeak past a hazard without touching it for a sneaky "CLOSE!" bonus.

The Hazards (a.k.a. Tuesday)

Everything the city can throw at you: 18-wheelers, Sunday drivers doing 40 in the fast lane, potholes the size of kiddie pools, surprise lane closures, a couch that fell off somebody's truck, lane-weaving maniacs, actual pedestrians (you know who you are), multi-car pileups, full-blown road rage, ambulances, a police chase blowing past at 120, and weather that rolls in just to ruin your day. It only gets thicker the longer you last.

The Phases

It starts easy โ€” open road, light traffic. Then it ramps up Phase by Phase, and every new Phase unlocks one fresh flavor of chaos. The HUD shows your current Phase dead-center, plus a live mini-map of the real 285 loop with your position ticking clockwise around it. The deeper you go, the tighter it gets โ€” but there's always a way through, if you're quick.

The Inspiration

Anybody who's driven Atlanta's I-285 knows it's less a highway and more a daily survival challenge. This is a love letter (and a friendly roast) to the Perimeter, built in the spirit of the classic top-down arcade racers. If you've ever white-knuckled it past Spaghetti Junction at rush hour โ€” this one's for you.
